After you have requested an exam schedule at the Testing Center the exam must be set up. To save time, it is possible to use setup information from previous tests.
Step One:
Log into the Testing Center website. Click on the Faculty tab and select Test Delivery Information.
Step Two:
Locate the correct course and exam. Click Setup Needed.
Step Three:
A dialog window appears. Click Select Previous Test/Author New Test.
Step Four:
In this window you can choose to:
Select and use an existing set of instructions and answer key(s) [1]
This option will link a previous exam’s instructions and answer key(s) to the exam you are currently creating. Meaning all information from the previous instructions will be pulled into the new exam. Any changes made to the information or answer key will impact ALL linked tests.
Create a newer version of an existing set of instructions and answer key(s) [2]
This option will create a new copy of a previous exam’s instructions and answer key(s). Meaning all information from the previous instructions will be pulled into the exam you are currently creating. Any changes made to the information or answer key will not impact any tests that use this information.
Step Five:
Filter the list of exams by checking the box next to List inactive versions or List replaced versions [1]. Or, click the drop down menu and select an option to filter by [2].
Step Six:
Locate the desired exam in the list and:

Click Select for option one above, Select to use an existing set of instructions and answer key(s).

Click New Version for option two above, Create a newer version of an existing set of instructions and answer key(s).
Step Seven:
You will be taken back to the Test Setup screen. All information and answer keys from the test you selected will appear.
Step Eight:
Now that the test setup process is complete and the exam has answer keys associated with it, the test delivery sheet can be printed. Click Test Setup Complete - Print Test Delivery Sheet.
Step Nine:
A printing window, specific to your browser will appear. Change the printing location if desired [1]. Click Print [2].
Step Ten:
The sheet will be printed. It and ALL copies of each exam form should be delivered to the Testing Center by noon the business day before the test begins. For finals, it should be delivered by noon the last day of classes.
